Using this site
- Content is provided for information. Figures are sourced and dated where given; vendors and regulators change them, and the scoping document for any project carries the figures that apply to it.
- Nothing on this site is legal, tax or accounting advice. Statements about the Cyber and Data Protection Act, ZIMRA fiscalisation or currency rules describe how we design automations, not your legal position; confirm with your adviser.
- The scoping worksheet produces a summary from your inputs using simple rules. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a quote.
- You may quote short extracts with a link to the page. Do not republish pages in full.
Engagement principles
Every engagement is governed by a signed proposal or agreement, which takes precedence over this page. The principles below describe how those agreements are normally structured.
- Scoping first. Build work starts only after a scoping document and a fixed build quote are agreed in writing.
- Vendor fees are yours. Platform, messaging, telephony, licensing and model fees are paid by you to the vendor on your own accounts unless the agreement says otherwise.
- You own the accounts and the flows. Systems are set up on accounts you control. On termination you keep them.
- Human approval. Actions involving money, credit or complaints are routed for human approval unless you have instructed otherwise in writing.
- No guaranteed outcomes. We commit to building what the scoping document describes and to reporting honestly on how it performs. Conversion rates, savings and similar outcomes depend on your business and are not guaranteed.
- Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability under an engagement is limited to the fees paid for the phase in which the claim arises, and excludes indirect or consequential loss.
- Governing law. Unless the signed agreement provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, where the company is headquartered.
