Which laws apply

For people in Zimbabwe, the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] and its regulations, with POTRAZ as the Data Protection Authority. For people in South Africa, the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Where the two differ, we apply the stricter requirement.

What this website collects

• Nothing automatically. At launch this site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. If analytics is added later, this notice will be updated and any cookie will be described here first.
• The contact form does not store anything on this site. It opens your own email or WhatsApp app with the text you typed; the message is then handled by that app and by us as described below.
• The scoping worksheet runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere until you choose to copy it or send it on WhatsApp or email.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and operation, retained for a limited period under its own policy.

What we collect when you contact us

Your name, contact details, business details and what you tell us about your processes, for the purpose of responding, scoping and delivering work. Kept for as long as the enquiry or engagement is active plus a reasonable period for records, then deleted or anonymised.

Third parties

Messages sent on WhatsApp are processed by Meta under its terms. Booking uses a third-party scheduling service under its terms. In client projects we may set up services (Meta, CRM, hosting, model providers) on the client's own accounts; the client remains the data controller for its customers' data and we act on its instructions.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and complain to the relevant authority (POTRAZ in Zimbabwe; the Information Regulator in South Africa). Email ai@aiautomatedsolutions.net and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

Access to enquiry data is limited to the people working on it. Credentials for client systems are stored in encrypted secret stores, never in messages or documents.
